Webasto Diesel Air Heaters
Diesel air heaters work by drawing in cool air from the environment and passing it through a heat exchanger that is heated by the combustion of diesel fuel. The process starts with the diesel fuel being pumped into the heater’s combustion chamber where it mixes with air and ignites. The combustion heats the heat exchanger, which in turn warms the air that is being drawn in. This warm air is then circulated into the desired space, such as a boat cabin, using a built-in fan. The exhaust gases from the combustion process are safely vented outside, ensuring clean air within the living space. Advanced models often feature thermostats to maintain a consistent temperature.

Webasto Diesel Liquid Heaters

The Webasto ThermoConnect TCON 2 is an innovative and user-friendly connectivity solution designed to enhance the convenience and functionality of your Webasto heaters. This versatile device allows for seamless integration with smart home systems and provides web-based as well as app-based control, enabling you to manage your boat’s heating system from virtually anywhere. The installation is straightforward thanks to its “Plug N Play” concept, ensuring compatibility with various Webasto products including the Air Top 2000 STC, Air Top Evo 40/55, Thermo Pro 90, and Thermo Top Evo. Offering superior control and ensuring optimal comfort on board, the ThermoConnect TCON 2 is an invaluable addition for any modern marine heating setup.
Thermoconnect is a subscription service. The first year is free free and then approximately £34.99 per year. Webasto ThermoConnect TCON 2 is web-based as well as well as App based. There is no SIM card to buy.
