When it comes to heating appliances on boats, the possibilities for individual needs and circumstances are endless. This is why Refleks Marine Oil Stoves come in many different variations. Heat outputs range from 1.6kw to 7.25kw. The stoves can come with viewing windows or without. There are water-heating coil and back-boiler options. Some models can be bulkhead or floor-mounted. Flues can be configured to exit the top or the rear of the appliance. Oil control valves can be side or rear-mounted. There is a fresh air intake option that can take combustion air from the outside, via a duct, to “room-seal” the appliance. Thermocouples are available on some models. This will protect the stove in high crosswinds. Should the flame be blown out, the thermocouple will shut off the oil supply and prevent the burner from being flooded. In addition, Refleks diesel stoves come with stainless steel, copper, or brass finish.

Also available are Refleks “cold” stoves that have an insulated body and heat water only. This fully insulated range heats water or radiators only and does not give off heat into the cabin. These can be placed within cupboards when used with an insulated internal flue which will give off ambient heat and can create an airing cupboard effect.
The 66 Range
The 66M is the most compact stove from Refleks. Its heat output is 0.5kw to 1.6kw, with fuel consumption being a mere 0.1 to 0.3 litres per hour. This stove is ideally suited for smaller narrowboats and inland waterway vessels, as well as sailing boats with small cabins, and camper vans. The maximum heat capacity for spaces with insulation is 23m³, and without insulation is 14m³. Based on these figures, you may need to go for a larger output appliance, depending on your boat’s layout, and if the stove can be placed centrally in the space to be heated. For example, narrowboats are notorious for poor heat distribution.

The 62 Range
The Refleks 62M has the option of different maximum outputs depending on whether you have the optional hot plate fitted. The maximum heat output as standard is 2.4KW. This increases to 3.5kw with the cast iron hotplate. The heat can be regulated down to a minimum output of 0.55kw. Fuel consumption ranges from 0.12 to 0.48 liters per hour. The maximum heat capacity for spaces with insulation is 35m³, and without insulation is 21m³. Based on these figures, you may need to go for a larger output appliance, depending on your boat’s layout, and if the stove can be placed centrally in the space to be heated. Refleks 62M – Boat Diesel Stove – Fully Customisable Kit
The 2000 Range
Refleks mid-size and most popular diesel oil stove. The Refleks 2000 models come with a viewing window and hotplate as standard. The cold furnace water heater comes with a solid body. Due to its shallower burner, it can be fitted with a thermocouple and flame failure device and this is fitted as standard. Instead of a copper heating coil, the 2000 Range has the option of a stainless steel back boiler for water heating which allows a clear view through the viewing window. Fuel consumption is 0.18 to 0.54 litres per hour.

Refleks 2000 – Diesel Boat Stove – Fully Customisable Kit
The 60/61 Range
The Refleks 60/61 diesel oil stove models are some of the larger ones, with a maximum output of up to 5.8KW. These stoves are best suited to widebeams, larger narrowboats, and bigger radiator systems. unlike the 2000 series, you can have a viewing window even if a copper coil is fitted. Some of the coil will be visible through the window. Fuel consumption is 0.18 to 0.80 litres per hour.

Refleks 61– Diesel Boat Stove – Fully Customisable Kit
The 67 Range
The 67 Range is the largest of the Refleks stoves. All Refleks 67 models come with a copper coil for central heating. This stove can heat larger wide beam narrowboats and Dutch barges. The total heat output is 7.2kw, 4.9kw to the central heating, and 2.3kw directly to the air. Fuel consumption is 0.3 to 1 litres.
