Our fully qualified BSS – Boat Safety Scheme Examiners offer nationwide services. If your boat is in need of a new BSS Certificate, we can travel to your location for an examination anywhere in England and Wales.

BSS Examinations For Live-Aboard and Leisure Boats

Our BSS examiners are fully Gas Safe registered for boats. We can therefore offer BSS certificates for all private boats, including liveaboard boats.

Bookings and Charges

Please be aware that bookings for BSS certificates are taken exclusively via email to marineheatingsolutions@gmail.com

The price for a BSS examination is £175. Call-out travel charges will depend on your location. Book your Boat Safety Scheme examination together with other boats in your area and pay only one call-out charge between you. There is no call-out charge if your boat is within a 30-minute drive of Luton.
