Alde Compact 3030: The Modern Marine Standard
The Alde Compact 3030 is the latest evolution in their lineup, serving as both a central heating boiler and a high-efficiency hot water heater. It is a room-sealed appliance, ensuring maximum safety by drawing combustion air from outside the vessel and venting exhaust gases through either a roof or side flue.
Key features of the Alde Compact 3030 include:
- Dual-Fuel Versatility: In addition to its 6kW LPG burner, it features 3kW electric heating elements. This allows users to save gas when connected to shore power or utilizing surplus solar energy via an inverter.
- Hot Water Storage: The unit stores 10 litres of water at near-boiling temperatures, which is then mixed to provide approximately 17 litres of usable domestic hot water for showers and taps.
- Silent Comfort: Unlike forced-air heaters, Alde systems use natural convection or quiet circulation pumps, making them virtually silent during operation.
Professional Gas Safe Installation
Because Alde boilers are pressurised LPG appliances, installation must be performed by a specialist. At Marine Heating Solutions, our engineers are Gas Safe Registered with specific expertise in Alde LPG boiler installations. We ensure all gas connections, flue configurations, and hydronic balancing meet the rigorous standards of the Boat Safety Scheme (BSS).

Alde Compact 3030
The Alde Compact 3030 stores 10 litres of boiling hot water. This is then automatically mixed to safe temperatures to give you hot water at your tap or shower. In doing this the hot water supply is increased to 17 liters. This is then further mixed with cold water at your shower tap, to give you the temperature you feel most comfortable with. This LPG Alde boiler will also provide central heating for your boat via convector-style radiators.
In addition to the 6kw of power delivered by the LPG burners, this boiler has the option of using 3kw of electric heating elements. This will save LPG when you are on a shoreline supply or when you are making use of your solar cells via an inverter. This is however optional. When you are not at your mooring or have no access to a 240v supply, the boiler will work on LPG via a 12v supply.
