The Refleks 2000 is an exceptional choice for those seeking the ultimate in efficiency and reliability for marine heating. Designed specifically for the rigours of life on the water, this robust diesel stove combines traditional Danish craftsmanship with advanced safety features. Delivering a maximum heat output of 4.2kW, the Refleks 2000 is capable of heating insulated spaces up to 70m³, making it the perfect central heating solution for larger narrowboats and coastal vessels.
Refleks 2000: Advanced Heating with Enhanced Safety
What sets the Refleks 2000 diesel stove apart is its inclusion of a viewing window, hotplate, and thermocouple as standard. The thermocouple serves as a vital flame failure protection device, automatically shutting off the oil supply if the flame is extinguished. Unlike other models that use heating coils, the 2000 range offers an optional stainless steel back boiler for water heating. This design provides an unobstructed view of the fire through the window while still allowing the stove to power radiators and a calorifier. With a fuel consumption of 0.18 to 0.54 litres per hour, it offers powerful performance with an elegant, space-saving design.
Expert Installation and Technical Precision
Vapourising stoves like the Refleks 2000 require precise installation to function correctly in a marine environment. According to the official Refleks installation outline, specific draught and fuel pressure settings are required for the Ecoflam or manual burners. Our OFTEC-trained engineers specialise in Refleks 2000 diesel stove installations, ensuring they are paired with high-quality marine flue kits.
For further safety guidance, please consult the OFTEC consumer guide for liquid fuel appliances and the Boat Safety Scheme (BSS) fire safety hub. We are currently offering free installation for narrowboat stove kits throughout the Winter 2025/2026 season.
Custom Orders and Safety Certification
The Refleks 2000 is made to order, allowing for customisation in stainless steel, copper, or brass finishes. Following a professional installation, Marine Heating Solutions issues a diesel appliance safety certificate, which is a key requirement for Boat Safety Scheme (BSS) compliance and insurance. You can also access technical specifications via the Refleks technical manuals. Ask us about our appliance trade-in deals to receive up to £250 off your new system.
