The Franco Belge Burgundy is a heavyweight cast-iron stove designed to act as the thermal heart of a large vessel. With a maximum heat output of 10kW, it is capable of heating the most substantial cabins, providing the steady, dry, radiant warmth that cast iron is famous for. The inclusion of the integrated cooking plate allows boaters to boil a kettle or simmer meals directly on the stove top, making it an invaluable asset for off-grid living where conserving gas or electricity is a priority.
Like the Savoy, the Burgundy is a thermal store; its 125kg mass ensures that heat continues to radiate long after the burner is turned down. It features a patented “double wall” vapourising burner system for maximum efficiency (rated at 85%) and can be ordered to run on standard diesel, kerosene, or carbon-neutral HVO.

Installing a 10kW cast-iron stove requires precision to ensure safe clearances and effective flue draught. Our OFTEC-trained engineers specialise in high-output diesel stove installations, ensuring every unit is mounted on a compliant hearth and vented through a high-specification marine flue kit.
All installations are conducted in strict accordance with Boat Safety Scheme (BSS) standards.
