The Dickinson Pacific is a premier diesel galley range designed for boats between 30 and 40 feet. It is an exceptional multi-purpose appliance, providing professional-grade cooking and baking alongside a powerful heating output, effectively serving as the heart of a vessel’s cabin.
Dickinson Pacific: The Comprehensive Galley Solution
The Dickinson Pacific offers a substantial heat output range of 1.9kW to 4.8kW, capable of keeping a medium-sized vessel warm and dry while eliminating the need for a separate heater. It is designed for maximum efficiency, with fuel consumption staying between 0.2 and 0.5 litres of diesel per hour. Constructed from heavy-duty stainless steel, the Pacific is built to last and features a large, fully functional oven and cooktop for serious onboard catering.
Key technical features include a 12V draft assist fan for stable combustion and an optional single or double-turn hot water coil (providing up to 2kW). This allows the Pacific to heat domestic water via a SureCal calorifier or to run a central heating radiator, further maximising the utility of the fuel consumed.
Expert Installation and BSS Safety
Our OFTEC-trained engineers specialise in Dickinson Pacific diesel cooker installations, ensuring your unit is installed to the highest safety and finishing standards. To comply with the Boat Safety Scheme (BSS), a permanent fresh air vent must be installed in the cabin, and a barometric damper is required for any chimney run of 6ft or longer to ensure a consistent draft.
For technical support and safety guidance, please visit the Dickinson Marine Support Portal and the OFTEC consumer guide for liquid fuel appliances. We are currently running a free installation offer for our narrowboat cooker kits throughout the Winter 2025/2026 season.
Custom Kits and Certification
The Pacific is available as a complete Narrowboat Kit (£4389.00), which includes the cooker, a comprehensive flue kit, drip tray, fuel line components, a fire valve, and a diesel appliance safety certificate. This certificate is essential for both marine insurance and BSS compliance. Additionally, you can save up to £250 when upgrading by using our appliance trade-in deals.
Free Installation Offer Winter 2025/2026
We are offering free installation for all narrowboat stove kits between the 15th of November 2025 and the 15th of February 2026. See individual appliance listing for boat stove kit prices. Email us for details.
