Achieving a traditional aesthetic without compromising modern safety standards is the hallmark of a well-engineered vessel. Our high-temperature ventilation systems are crafted specifically for boat owners who want the classic “stove pipe” look combined with advanced thermal protection. Designed for the rigours of the British canal system, these kits provide a durable, discreet, and high-performance venting solution for both solid fuel and diesel appliances. At Marine Heating Solutions, we provide specialised engineering support
for every installation, ensuring your flue integrates seamlessly with your professional boat heating installation.

Our black powder-coated kit includes all modular components, including insulated pipe lengths and weather-sealing roof collars, for a professional marine installation.

The Specialist Difference: Durability Meets Classic Design

Our technical approach ensures that while the visual appeal remains traditional, the engineering is purely modern. Each component is finished with a high-temperature industrial powder coating that provides an additional layer of protection against the elements. Unlike painted flues that may peel or flake under extreme heat, our coating is designed to maintain its deep matte black finish even after years of heavy use in the damp marine environment.

  • High-Temperature Resilience: Industrial-grade coating prevents surface degradation and peeling during peak stove operation.
  • Low Maintenance Design: The matte finish effectively masks soot and dust associated with solid fuel heating.
  • Discreet Roof Profile: Offers a lower-profile aesthetic on your vessel’s roof, which is often preferred on Canal & River Trust (CRT) waterways.

Advanced Safety and BSS Compliance

Safety is our primary concern when installing any heating system on the inland waterways. The twin-wall design features a 25mm layer of high-density insulation between the inner and outer skins. This technical barrier ensures that while your stove is running at full capacity, the outer surface of the flue remains at a temperature that significantly reduces fire risk.

By maintaining high internal temperatures, our kits also prevent the cooling of exhaust gases, which is the leading cause of creosote buildup and poor chimney draw. This performance is essential for meeting Boat Safety Scheme (BSS) certificates and ensuring your onboard environment remains free from carbon monoxide.
