Wallas heaters and cookers are our favourites. Their modern design, clean burn, Bluetooth and wifi functions, and extremely low fuel consumption make them superior to most other marine heating and cooking appliances on the market. Among other products designed for cottages and other applications on land, Wallas produces high-quality heaters and cookers for boats. Wallas Marine is a privately owned company. The company’s product development and manufacturing facilities are located in Kaarina, Finland.

Wallas Boat Heaters
Wallas Boat heaters come in a variety of sizes, with variable heat outputs from 1 kw to 4.5kw. They are warm air heaters that are powered by either diesel or kerosene. The new Wallas heater models with the new advanced control panels have wifi and Bluetooth options. Simply operate the heater from wherever you are. There is also an option for a Bluetooth thermostat beacon, which can be placed wherever you are in the boat.
All Wallas products come with a standard 2-year warranty, which can be further extended by 1 year when you register the heater with the manufacturer.
Wallas boat heaters are extremely economical. Fuel consumption for the diesel and kerosene air heaters starts from just 0.10 liters per hour on lower settings and just 0.46 liters per hour on full heat. This fuel efficiency makes the Wallas heater more environmentally friendly than many of its competitors. Electricity consumption is negligible at around 0.7 to 2 amps.
All new Wallas boat heaters feature the new laminar flow burners and new software. They are designed to work with the current road and red diesel (EN590), but also with future renewable (HVO 15940) and blended (B10 EN 16734, B20/B30 EN 16709) bio road diesel. Wallas diesel heaters are fully ready and compatible with future fuels. The new burner has ultra-low emissions, including very low CO2 and NOx levels.

This heater is extremely quiet. The sound level equals the level of whispering in the library, thanks to the laminar burning. The sound of burning cannot be heard from the exhaust pipe. This is ideal if you are moored in a marina or close to others.

Wallas Boat Cookers, Hobs and Ovens
Wallas boat cookers, hobs, and ovens are very safe and efficient marine appliances. There is no open flame in Wallas stoves and they use non-explosive and non-pressurized fuel. This guarantees safety and no moisture from the burning process enters the cabin. No open flame also allows the appliances to be installed in an half-open space as they are protected against the wind
The surfaces are smooth and therefore easy to use and keep clean. Operation is as easy as with your stove at home. Just press the button and the stove turns on. Power adjustment is step-less, just as it would be on a gas cooker. Once running, the appliance will be very similar to a domestic cooker. The flush-mounted stove and separately installed oven have independent operating switches that can be placed as desired e.g. out of reach of children.
Wallas hobs and cookers can also be used for heating your boat. A heat blower lid you can transform your stove into a cabin heater. This is ideal for smaller inland waterway craft and sailing boats, where space can be a premium. Clearances required from combustible materials are minimal as the heat is blown and to static in the area where it is created The heat blower lid can be also retrofitted.
Wallas 85DP / 87D / 89D / 270 Warm Air Blower Lid – Fully Customisable Kit
The Wallas 89D Cooker with warm air blower lid is fully customisable and made of 3 separate Wallas cooking appliances. The Wallas 85DP Hob, the 86D oven, and the 270 Blower Lid.
Wallas 85DP Diesel Hob
The Wallas 85DP surface-mounted ceramic hob represents the state of the art in marine cooking systems. The Wallas diesel hob draws combustion air from inside the cabin and carries exhaust outside the cabin. This feature forces fresh air into the cabin area, drying the vessel interior and reducing the effects of mildew.
You can use this stove as a heater when fitted with a Wallas 270 heat blower lid. It also becomes a full cooker (87D) when combined with the Wallas 86D Oven. All three units combined become the Wallas 89D.

Wallas heat blower lids are optional extras for Wallas hobs. They work as cabin heaters by distributing heat from the cooker around the cabin. When you’re ready to cook, just open the heater lid! After cooking, just close the heater lid to protect the hot surface and deliver controlled, warm, dry heat to your boat.
Wallas 220D Heat Blower Lid
The Wallas exclusive heater lid for the 800D stove provides a clean, efficient heat source. Additionally, it acts as a cover to prevent any damage to the ceramic surface of the hob. Despite the high temperature, the upper surface of the lid is safe to touch.
